2007년 1월 14일자로 올라온 Hard Disk Sentinel 1.80 Pro 베타 입니다. 곧 출시될 2.0 버전의 프리뷰버전입니다.

본 유틸리티는 Basic 버전에 몇가지 기능이 덧붙여진 버전으로 HDD의 여러가지 설정 및 모니터링을 도와주는 유틸리티입니다.

이 유틸리티의 특성은 다음과 같습니다.
The Professional version contains all functions from the basic version (hard disk control, monitor, status display, alerts). By registering the Professional version, all functions of the basic version will be also available.

Scheduled backups: it is possible to define backup projects for each days of the week. Backup tasks (projects) can be scheduled independently or they can be linked and executed sequentially as a chain

이전 버전과 비교하여 바뀐 점은 다음과 같습니다.
1) improved detection routine for IDE, SCSI and S-ATA/S-ATA II hard disks
2) added detection for S-ATA Native Command Queuing (NCQ)
3) added detection of full SCSI S.M.A.R.T. information
4) HTML and text report fixes and improvements, added transfer rate information
5) automatically re-send daily e-mail report later if the e-mail cannot be sent
6) supports large fonts and non 96 DPI desktops
7) option to display information directly on desktop
8) option to sending mouse clicks to window under the status window
9) fixed: drive icons restored after exiting HD Sentinel
