To all Italian fans out there that expect to win their match against Korea, there would be no shame in losing to this Korean squad. This Korean team is the closest thing I've seen to 'total soccer'. As for Korea getting its 'bubble burst'.They've already achieved far more than what anyone has expected. Let's hope they can stretch their dream.

I have absolutely no sympathy for the Italians. They lost to the Koreans because, after scoring once, they were too lazy to continuously press to score again. That type of defensive, cynical play has been used by the Italians before, and they've paid for it.

When all is said & done, the Italians have not learned from their past mistakes, they got booted out and, as far as I'm concerned, the World Cup is a better tournament because of it. I just hope one of the "little guys" go on to win the whole shebang.

이탈리아팀에 대해서는 추호의 동정심도 필요없다. 그들이 한국에 진 것은, 한골 넣고 나태해져서는 추가 득점하기에는 완전 늘어져버렸기 때문이다. 이전부터 이탈리아가사용해온 수비위주의 냉소적인 플레이는 그 값을 치룬 것이다.
결국 이탈리아는 과거의 실수로부터 배우지 못했고 결국 쫓겨나게 됐다. 그리고 나에게 있어서 월드컵은 그래서 더 멋진 토너먼트가 되었다. 내가 바라는 것은 저 '작은친구들'이 모든 것을 차지하는 것이다.

The Italians got what they deserved for being rough (did you see those elbows and shirt holding?) Those made the referee become ever stricter. The Koreans are smaller in size and it looked like they were being bullied at first. They foughtback with consistent determination, balanced pace, and a flawless finish. This World Cup has shown that football is simply a game of effort and ability. Names have no meanings anymore. Senegal and S Korea have shown the world that you don't need Zidane and Totti to be a good team, because there are 11 players onthat pitch and harmony rather than individuality is the key. For a neutral fan like me it is a beautiful tournament and may the best team win it.
